About Me

I am an artist, author, and essayist working across visual art, fiction, and reflective non-fiction. I’m drawn to atmosphere, story, and the quieter details that give work depth and emotional weight. Whether I’m painting, writing fiction, or exploring ideas through essays, I tend to work slowly and deliberately, allowing things to unfold rather than pushing them into a finished shape too quickly.
Alongside my own creative work, I run Our Arts Magazine, where I host member blogs and support writers and artists in sharing their work thoughtfully. I also work as a manager on a large international art platform, where much of my role centres on guidance, moderation, and helping creative communities function with clarity, fairness, and respect. Supporting other creatives is an important and rewarding part of my working life.
I live in the north of England, where landscape, light, and weather inevitably find their way into both my visual work and my writing. I am neurodivergent, which shapes how I think, focus, and engage with the world. I value structure, clarity, and calm spaces, and those values influence not only how I create, but how I approach publishing and community care.
This site brings together my work across art, fiction, and essays. Each area stands on its own, but all are part of the same ongoing practice, one rooted in curiosity, care, and a genuine love of making things thoughtfully.
