A Happy New Year to my readers….

A Happy New Year to my readers….

To those of you who have encouraged me, read my stories and articles, and met my words with kindness and care… thank you. To everyone who has viewed, commented on, shared, or voted on my art… your quiet support has never gone unnoticed. Each interaction, however small it may have seemed at the time, helped keep me moving forward.

To my friends and family, thank you for your patience while I wrestle ideas into shape, turn stories into books, and work towards getting them into e-books and extended editions. Creative work is rarely tidy or predictable, and your understanding has meant more to me than I’ve probably ever said out loud.

This year, I am also making a promise to myself. To be true to who I am, and to honour the work that has been waiting patiently to be finished. 2026 will be my year of writing, of focus, and of finally completing the last books about Ghost and Jacob. Those stories deserve their ending… and so do I.

I won’t pretend this past year has been easy. My home life has been a struggle, and my depression has been particularly heavy at times. There was a point where I felt utterly worn down, close to giving up altogether. But I am still here, and more than that, I am determined. This coming year will be mine to seize, carefully, honestly, and with purpose.

And to my son… who stayed in touch, checked in, and quietly held the line during one of the darkest stretches… you are my joy, my life, and the very best thing I have ever done. Keep being exactly who you are.

Thank you all for being part of this journey, for your patience, your warmth, and your belief. Here’s to a year of finishing what matters, telling the truth in words and art, and stepping forward with resolve.

With love and gratitude,
Abbie
