What a sweet story. Loved her thoughts about her grandma and the gentle words and how visual your writing is. I must say, that I’m not surprised you are this talented, but very surprised with all the work you do as moderator and painter and illustrator, having dogs and a partner, that you have time to write anything at all, and here I find some very beautiful and talented writing! 🙂 Maggie

Just realized this was for “She wore flowers in her hair!” . Don’t know if it can be placed under the proper piece or writing or not. So Sorry!

I was not expecting the twist at the end that this was a son, leaving his mom to start a new life with a woman he loved. I reacted to it, like it was a man, leaving his wife for another woman; I was very touched by this. Affected really, tears in my eyes, the whole shebang. Not easier finding out it was his mom, but less cruel. You are a good writer. 🙂 Maggie

This one really threw me, was emotive reading and not expecting the ending. Great build up you created in your writing and now a sigh of relief!! Amazing talent, Abbie!!!

Hahaha, I always look forward to & try to guess the ending. You surprised me again. I found the ending wonderfully funny 🙂
